yeah its the reason why i dont drink much cold drinks nowadays chinese wants hot drinks...hot water or tea.

tea is good after a meal. even japanese practiced drinking tea after a meal. tea is better than cold water beverages.

Coffee have some nice benefits too (increase focus, can lower the probabilyt to have type 2 diabetes or Alzheimer, some cancers, ...). The main problem is when you drink more than 1 or 2 cups a day since "cafeine" activate the same rewarding area in the brain than "cocaine" or "heroin".

Heavy coffee drinker will have some of the same reaction (slighter of course) than a drug addict when quitting : headache, state of lack, etc.

And cafeine can mess with your sleep pattern too. It take around 10 hours to your body to get rid of the cafeine, so if you drink it 10 hours before sleeping your nerves will still feel the effect (even if it doesn't seem to you). Don't take warm coffee or tea right after a meal, it will blocked 40 to 60% of the absorbtion or the iron.

I read like a looooot about the drinking subject and my conclusion of the "ideal" to drink is : 

1 glasse of water+lemon as soon as you wake up (brush you teeth before) + 1 or 2 liters of pure and filtrated water (depending the climate where you live, if you do sport or not) + 1 coffee in the morning and 2 green tea in the afternoon. All organic if possible (usual green tea from china and japan are often contaminated).

Regardless of the benefits of these drinks, i rarely drink anything aside from water(lots of water) and milk before going to bed.. And sometimes a sip of soda to get rid of the after tastes from a heavy meal. A glass of soda is too much. Not really a fan of other drinks especially sugary drinks and alcohols. But I'm up for that. Just occasionally.

I love green tea so freaking much! I am addicted on it. It really has so many health benefits especially when it comes to our metabolism. I'm trying to quit drinking coffee and switch to water and tea only. Hopefully i could make it!

You can and you will, espacially if you are convince that it's better for your health ;) Now everytime you'll drink a coffee you'll think about the fact that there are better options ^^

yes thank you :) i had tea today 3 times now. morning, lunch and snack. I'll probably drink again later after dinner :)

It relaxes me and it good as an antioxidant.

It is my daily routine to drink at least 2-3 cups a day:) 

I rarely drink tea nowadays.

Intaking more coffee to stay awake at night.

But I still love tea more.
