0.15 BTC stolen, can someone help me recover it?

Recommended Posts

I met a guy on telegram and told him how I was in a $20K loss in bitcoin trading and I took a debt of $9K to recover it, he told me he knew some tricks to win in primebtc, and asked me to deposit 0.15 BTC in my account secure it with 2fa and give him the 2FA just once so he can login and not withdraw anything.

I deposited 0.15 BTC and gave him id pass, 2fa code, he logged in, placed a few bets and I was in profit, he then sent me a fake screenshot saying he’s logged out and needs 2fa again to login, I gave him, and using the 2fa he tipped my entire btc to his primedice account.

His primedice account is an old account it’s since 2019

Can someone please help me recover the amount? I asked the customer support but they are of no help, I’m in a debt and have to repay it, thanks!

I would even appreciate if primedice can share if ip address or any other details so I can reach out to local police.

Sorry for your loss, but if you are this naive in giving away your account info to a random person on the internet then you will get scammed and nobody can help you. You should follow the policy of trust nobody in the internet.

Account age is a poor indicator of legitimacy.

It is also against primedice's terms to give IP info to others. I dont think the team can help you with anything in this matter further.

That hurts man I don't think you should be using Bitcoin if you were so naive to send him your login. I also wouldn't take any debt to gamble, gamble only what you can afford to lose, consider it spending money not investing.

Edit: If you want, send his info to my Telegram: @oAustin and I'll try and see if any sort of digging can be done

Don't give anybody your 2FA anything, you don't know his/her will do with your account and important not buy or sell account

Seems you're a simple minded person. Develop yourself and don't TRUST anyone from Online. It never be easier to find the legit people who can help you from your down. If someone says, that's a fake promise. Probably real people won't ask any of your information. Be careful in future. Forget what you lose, think what you have left  , that's only help you this situation...Good luck..

First of all you need to solve your problem with gambling addiction. If you take loans to gamble you are an gamble addict.

My advice is to put a 100 usd limit per month for deposits and don't bet more than a few cents per bet.

Work to keep your addiction under control and you will save tens of thousands of usd.

Forget about the 0.15 btc. They are lost.

We all learned someway to never trust in online people, you can chat and pass a great time but never lend money or personal info... maybe you get lucky and didnt happen the firsts times but someday you will learn it... i hope you didnt trust him all your cash, but if you dont at least you dont loose all and you learned a very good lesson
