Losing everything due to gambling

Recommended Posts

I have a story about a person who lost what he had due to gambling, he had a house, a vehicle and various things that people didn't have but he lost everything.

this is the original story,

I met him last year and I only met him during the worship celebration so I would rarely see him and I would also have a different place of residence. but I have been to his house and he is very rich, and all that is lost due to gambling.

He has also been in prison due to gambling, I wrote in another topic my country forbids gambling so that if found out he will be in prison and he has felt it but does not make it stop.

I really wanted to tell him to stop but I didn't because I didn't want to make people lose their fun.

I just want him to be aware of himself not because of others, what is your response to the story I gave.

it is good. make someone aware of themselves and the actions they do without having to listen to the advice of others fell down first.
but sometimes that advice is one step ahead before the person realizes his wrong doing. and that's why advice is important. You should give advice to him before your friend's condition worse. it's never too late in life

A lot of people do same thing like this. And it's a very bad thing. I have seen in news that few people committee suicide after losing all their money and taking loan for gambling. We should always stay in limit. And if we see some struggling with gambling, we need to provide them best suggestion to get out from the situation.

so sad to know ! i know a similar story of a primedice player, he was about to sell his house to recover his loss, he lost around 50 btc in one day ! but he could recover some later without selling his house ! thats why we always say play with only what you can afford to lose !

in my opinion it would be better if you told him first because it could bring him to his senses faster before he realized it.

Many people like that lose their gambling because they don't put it where they should be,  if my friend experiences something similar i will do it.

a huge loss of 50 bitcoin 😲 is equal to 25 home in my state,
I myself have stated in other topics that my target is to be able to buy a house, but instead he will choose to recover😔. I just hope that people can stop before losing everything they have🙂.

indeed it should have been done first, but our friend did not do it because he did not want to interfere with the pleasure of his friend, this is also a reasonable reason, but it has bad consequences for his friend.

let it make my friend realize the most correct way, because it's useless to give advice if he does not try to stop and instead continue to play until increasingly lost.
I also only see him once a year and for this year I did not meet, I just wanted to know whether he had recovered or gotten worse.

as a friend I feel the need to remind and then it's up to what he will do next, in the end he will realize that what we say is true.

I can only meet with him once a year so I can't talk much to tell him to stop because it can ruin friendships.

do you work in gambling ?
I would be very sorry to see people lose real possessions.

although it looks like fun to them, but it can ruin their lives. losing everything they have will be very sad.
just as a friend, I will still advise them. even if they hate me for advising them not to do crazy things for gambling, I will still advise them. I'm sure someday they will thank me

Bro if your really want to stop him even it can take your friendship, you can do anything. There are many ways to do that, we are not in writing letters now And send it to mail man, you can do social media, txt or call him. I know your scared that he will be angry because of that, but someday like what happey to him and lost it all, he will realize that, but I think it's to late now. I don't work in gambling, there is a casino the same building In my past work.

ignoring the fear of being scolded or hated for advising, it is indeed far better than seeing that destruction befalling your own friend who in the end we too sad to see him suffer later on...

Yes your right, that's why as a friend we are doing anything just to help them, not helping them to do a bad things but helping them to realize that they are doing is not right. What are friends for, right ?. We know that friends still fighting even they're friends, but sooner or later they will be together. I hope that noleps friend will learned a lot because of what happened to him, regret is always in last. Let's just pray that he will be better soon.

I think that is a true friend, giving advice and remind each other when one of them is in doubt over being lost, especially when gambling.
I hope nolep friends aware and understand what the meaning of gambling. It's OK to dream of winning from gambling, but not by destroying one's own life in the end

as a friend, I think it is our responsibility to remind us that he has indeed made a mistake.  I sometimes make mistakes and my friends remind me of that, if it was not as family or friends, surely he would not like that.

thank you all for your advice, I will immediately contact him with the inbox. I can't meet with him this year because all the places in my country live in travel restrictions so I can't meet him. I might only be able to meet in the next few months when I go to the city to take care of the paperwork.

friendship and friendship sometimes have more value than a family. and not infrequently people will listen more to a friend's advice than his own brother's advice. that's why if you see a friend wrong, then advise them, especially when greed begins to enter their minds.
