How much has the vault saved you

Recommended Posts

I think one of the greatest features that both Primedice and stake have implemented is the ability to put away your balance in the vault. Before it was added as a feature, there were many times that I would be reckless with my balance and turn a profit into a loss before I could blink my eyes. I think this tool is a great way to settle down as your gambling and regain some mental balance if you find yourself on a very large winning streak. As a rule of thumb, whenever I am able to double my deposit, I immediately put into the vault the amount I deposited, and only play with my winnings for the rest of the session. If I happen to lose, I take it back out of the vault after I have taken a quick breather so I don’t make irrational “get it all back now” bets.

How many of you all use the vault in this way or do you use it to store bonuses, tips, rains, etc? I would like to know how each of you use it and if you do, have you noticed any changes in how much or how quickly you lose funds. For me, I’ve been able to play way beyond what I would have without it, and find I don’t lose nearly as much money as I did before they had it

The vault doesn't help you a lot if you don't know how to control yourself. Because funds from vault can be withdrawn immediately after you deposit them so it won't protect your from gambling your balance if you really want to do it.

I think this is a disadvantage for addicted gamblers that can't handle their feeling to gamble when they have funds in their balance. And practically your coins are still in the balance of your account, the only difference is that they appear in your vault

It is a great feature. However, implementing a timed access that the user can set himself. Allotted a 60 minute window that can be set at the users discretion to which ever hour of the day fits them best. Kinda like the real banks use vaults set on a timer and then and only then can the vault be accessed.  That would greatly reduce the amount lost.. However, since the site is in the business of making money I highly doubt this feature would be considered.

It’s all about the extra steps to give yourself an advantage to try to stop playing and being a compulsive player. While I know it’s not a perfect remedy for a player to use in terms of being able to stop the impulsive behavior completely, it does provide an extra layer of being able to think, as you are going about the process. Because at any point in your life you can take money and turn it into crypto and gamble, so your argument could be used in any sort of scenario regardless of any sort of parameters

vault is really nice to keep you away from lossing, but even you have it sometimes it wont really help you, why ? because you need to know yuor limit and a mentally in rolling, a good mood and the most important is you having fun. you can withdraw from vault and loss it all again if your not in the right mind to roll :) or just withdraw it all or keep some to make it big :D good luck and godbless O:)

I am the same as you, I use Vault to place the balance that I have while playing. I try to manage properly so that I do not lose the money I have and continue to be able to get the profit target that I am looking for, but the most important thing you have to be able to manage emotions and not greedy.

Before, I am always thinking I will withdraw to vault and I will be safe, then I realized I will go back to vault, then withdraw and play some more till I bust. I have observed that until it reaches my wallet, I don't trust myself not to do something stupid. Vault is so easy to access and that's the only main disadvantage. I can withdraw to vault now and withdraw back. Nahh. I observed a long time ago that Vault wasn't meant for me.

I am better with the withdrawing to wallet style.

at first I was thinking of saving the funds I have in vault. with the aim that I can be more in control when betting. but even so the vault could not hold me to continue to bet and bet. until I concluded that vault wasn't working well for me. because maybe I am a person who does not have patience in gambling, I will only stop betting if all my balance has run out, if I still have a balance even though it is stored in vault, it will not be able to hold me to withdraw it and then bet.
in other words, vault doesn't work for me.

I do not believe in vault because it is not safe, I prefer to withdraw after it stores in my own wallet.

I think the vault feature in Primedice is quite safe. it's just not exchangeable into real money, in contrast to your personal wallet which may already include all matters relating to online and real-world transactions
