Locking a vault

Well i think this kind of options are not necessary , if you want to avoid betting just withdraw your funds and lock them in your wallet, all is in your mind bro :)

some of us cant avoid their addiction, especially when you start to lose, you will keep depositing until you get busted, the locking vault will force you to stop  and to take a rest for hours or days, until you are able to control yourself again.

I would consider withdrawing the funds to some online vault which lets you lock the coins, and in most cases, they pay interest on your invested balance. That would be the best way to go imo.

oh, are there sites that pay you interests for keeping your funds on vaults ?? well that would be a good deal though !! but i doubt most of them are scammers

Well, it's a pretty amount, not everyone can afford to lose it, take it easy man!

Vault is great, but your brain has to be your Vault and not the other way around, don't try to mitigate your addiction with Vault and whatnot, just have a break, be your own master!

That could actually help, although casino had nothing to do with your self control, I mean there's a profit for the house when players struggles to stop. I guess the only possible way is to cash your money out in a local currency.

Yes, instead of locking a vault, the best option is to vault money away in special programs other companies have that may indeed give you interest on the coins. But the only saving technique is only withdrawing. I wish something could be implemented such as a vault program at PD/Stake which maybe they could for example... "store x coins and receive 2% annual interest" - we already know that PD/Stake are the most legit sites out here... just wish they could implement something that may seem nice for an investor...

I am not really sure, but I thought I saw an email from Stake or Primedice that Support can help deactivate your vaults or accounts for a specific period of time you want it. I am not sure, I just feel I saw it in my mail, one time.

But if I am wrong, I think its high time PD or her sister stake bring the feature. A lot of people lose money because of gambling addiction. They lose money stupidly all the time. The best way is just to allow Support on both sites help us. They definitely can, and I wish and ask that the feature is looked into.

Just cashout your money to an external wallet and save it up. Having money on PD is way too dangerous and you can easily :)

I've requested from support that it be nice to lock my vault for 30 days to stop me from being tempted to gamble. Support tell me that it's impossible until they implement such feature. We are living in 2020, it's a year we need to start making improvements in our own life as well as my own. Don't you think it's time to take our temptation away and put a lock feature on the vault so we can't touch it until the period is over?

Reality is that we are still tempted to withdraw some in our vault if we don't have balance to play with.  And i do agree with this feature if ever time will come that support will provide "freeze" vault. This is to prevent our self from withdrawing all the funds from there.

But you see, this is all about self control. Even we have something in vault if we still have control and go back to our goal. We can refrain from doing so.

Yes it was nice idea of locking it with a certain period of time, so for ut was good for likes of you who often tempted of gambling that much. But on me it doesn't apply, if im losing too much then i just gotta need a break, go on a game or other things to do, cause it makes me depressed eberytime im losojg instead of winning and just my nature, i just stop immediately and then couple of hours then, ill go gamble again.

well its good that you can control your self and stop whenever you want, for me its hard to stop when i start losing , i keep playing until i recover or get busted, thats why i think locking vault is a good idea, you will have to chose the period you want to lock your volt, and you come back later when you feel you can focus better !

all control is within you so support does not want to lock the vault because the more you run out, the site will get many benefits, you have to do to adjust yourself when playing so that it is not greedy.

There are a lot of online wallet where you can lock your fund and keep them safe and away from gambling. Though it would be good if pd add feature like this. A lot of people will use it. Also they will become angry on themselves when they will have nothing in hand without the amount they have locked.

I am new but feel that if the existing vault is not secure because it is not equipped with a key if you forget then it should contact support, maybe you should create a password while closing it so you won't remember.

Vault will never be locked, it's just that as you know primedice is not a place to save, but primedice is a place to bet. I think the vault is only a momentary storage, because in a matter of seconds, all the money we have in vault can be used up in an instant if the ambition is too high in betting

This is a good option if you are trying to limit your gambling habits, but if you are really onto reducing it, go for something more effective where it will also protect your wallet against the Deposit button. You can allow someone to handle your finances in that case.

back to the gambler itself basically. because all the things about gambling and money owned remain in full control by the owner ... so if the gambler is a gambler who cannot control himself when betting, no matter how good the money storage features, including the vault feature, will not function properly for him , even if someone else keeps the money.
