I think everyone has different definition. For me it means when to play and when not to play. If you feel bad or you are angry you shouldnt play. Or to stop playing when you won big and you have met your goal.

Control' is the main keyword in my opinion. If we can control oursalves in every condition while playing,then it will be great beneficial for us and it is the main theme of play smarter in my opinion.
