Chikou1306 93 #2 Posted October 19 well, facebook wants always to be creative, they would rather to create their own thing ( or copy any feature with some updates ) instead of adding an usual thing, they wont add bitcoin, they think their libra coin will beat the bitcoin, and i'm afraid they are right, facebook is the number one site and launching their own cryptocurrency may destroy the btc market ! anyway, lets wait and see what could possibly happen. A good competition may totally disrupt btc markets but to have a competition in the scale of what facebook can offer, there might be good ideas that would come along with Libra. I'm not against btc also not against new ideas.

I don't know, but from what I have noticed congresses are going for it, or all of this is just to add extra charm and attention. I have noticed that some are questioning this because it is the reverse of currency as it centralizes power in the hands of a large company rather than maintaining the decentralized scheme pattern. They're able to centralize its use while still getting the other positive properties that cryptocurrencies have over traditional banking in such an environment. Will prob be a decent coin to invest in if youre into that sort of thing, however do know that by investing in a coin you're supporting their cause. If thats something that matters to you. Damn Zuckerberg, that guy is a maniac. Pretty much this. The battle plan is always to strip competition of any standing platform and then add ways to spy on the customer. It would be one of those coins that has connections for companies to track users in a fashion that would bring in major profit for Facebook. There is also the aspect where he wants to get back at the twins and cost them some heartache. Libra group fell apart but its not dead, just on the backburner for now. They have their fingers in a lot of pots right now and continue to tentacle out into the webs. Facebook and bitcoin would be a bad connection as well. We would face more restrictions as they attempted to control aspects that government frowns on.
