Do you often get people's attention when they break the rules?

There are some situations where we have to pretend that we are not seeing anything or making a decision. I am talking about chat, and in my remarks I notice that when someone breaks the rules if there is no moderator at the moment there is always a player saying that that person is breaking the rules.

I've already caught the attention of some people a few times but decided not to do it anymore. I don't waste my time on this action anymore if it doesn't cause me problems in my game when I play.

In addition I have created my own rules, and one of them is not to get involved in useless things in the casino. So, analyzing this, I decided that I don't get anyone's attention anymore and I don't get into discussion or issues that don't take me anywhere, because my goal here is to make money!

Of course if it's bothering me, I pretend I don't see it, and I immediately report to support to take appropriate punitive action on the individual who is trying to disturb or cause me trouble. I believe the rules must be respected for the smooth running of the game and everyone at the casino.

And you what do you think of this? Do you often get people's attention when they break the rules? Do you warn someone for breaking the rules? Or do you do nothing and be quiet?

Share your ideas and experiences. Cheers!

maybe I am one of the players who doesn't care about other people, because I only focus on my game, so I don't pay too much attention to someone making a mistake or breaking the rules, even if I know it, I don't report it as long as it doesn't interfere with my game

If they don't care about it, I'm not going to care about it. No point trying to do such a thing for me, when mods and support could be on anytime. Ignore list exists for a reason, and I rarely have any problems with chat ever since I started using it, because it's usually the same people causing trouble.

hmm i guess it depends on the rule being broken.. I rely on the bystander effect a lot ( someone else will do the warning lol) i just drive by... hehe but in forum i see so many users doing things that i think are unnoticed by mods and against the rules, ᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎᠎but then i see in a later day a mod comments on the thread so it means i guess it was not against the rules after all...

what i mean is who am i to tell someone they are breaking the rules, there are mods and support for doing the policing

Rules Rules Rules! Such an interesting topic, well i used to warn users who were breaking rules but now to be honest, i'm not a mod, i have no power here, and i won't be paid for reporting (not that i need to be paid but i'm not a snitch , i report only in case of security reasons for pd or its users) , even tho i did that but seems even support doesn't care , when i see that a scammer like "pioop" is enjoying chat and making his daily business.

Well i'm always straight forward , rules are not respected and i would say 99% of Primedice users are breaking them , so why such hypocrisy, like the people who the most say "don't beg , don't beg" are beggars them self , isn't funny?  And i'm not mentioning spammers, caps addicts,  and  more....

Some users are discriminated just because they tell the truth, muted or banned, well let's don't talk about rules when we all know that nobody's respecting them.......

PS:  @JohnTravel you are an exception here , maybe one of the rare users who is really respecting rules

I am the same way.  I don't feel like it is my responsibility to do so and honestly, 99% of the time it wouldn't make a bit of a difference anyway.  Most people are how they are regardless, so if I say something or call attention to it, it will likely make no difference in the end.

I believe that everyone is responsible for breaking the rules. As the saying goes, the initiative is punishable, so I don’t do it, and I just don’t like complaining about others, it seems to me too low, and why make enemies for myself.

Very true, this is why the mods are around.  And usually if there are no mods around at any given time, there are other long time respected users that will usually get it taken care of.

I am a very outgoing person- that kind of woman who would raise my hand and volunteer to lead so yes, if I could only chat now on the game's chat function (I diligently observe everyone on the chat despite not being able to use it especially the common people who stay and chat there since yesterday; I saw several people who are just "unruly") I would call them out and nudge them if they are crossing the line.

Great, I stopped thinking about others in the chat, damn them if they break the rules as long as it doesn't interfere with my results. I watch people say that they broke the rules, today I'm much more focused on my games and I don't lose my attention with chat anymore. Waste of time and my time is very expensive.

Rules is rules, its meant to be obeyed.. imagine a site with no rules it will make the chat chaotic and people dont respect each other

we dont know each other, different races ,ages and languages i only warned people using different language on chat as theyre chatting on english

and of course the one who begs money because on true/live casino you cant beg there just to play :)

I am exactly the same way these days.  There are some folks that have nothing better to do than try to start problems, so I rarely even pay attention to chat anymore.  I used to chat very often, but rarely bother anymore.

i dont care when new players break the rules since they still noobs, and they deserve a chance to read the rules carefully, even though most of new players register without reading any single rule ! the thing that gets me mad is to see players registring through alt accounts to break the rules ( spam, scam, beg...etc) and luckily mods are always there to stop them. i need they should make it ( obligated ) to read the rules before registering , like a test, so only those who read the rules carefully will be able to register, and then we will see less spam and less breaking rules ! :)

This hits the point. Only a very few actually escape being punished because of their vigilance. There even come a time where they would just pop out of chat without warning and the next thing that everyone knows is that the person has already been muted for hours and even days.

rules are made to be obeyed, not to be broken. in real life the rules are very sensitive for some people.

Likewise, in casinos, rules are made indeed for the comfort and peace of the gamblers when betting. some gamblers sometimes disobey these rules. certainly, they broke the rules for several reasons. maybe because they suffered defeat, or also because they deliberately violated these rules because they really want to mess with other people's games.

if some gamblers deliberately commit these violations, as one of the gamblers in the casino (primedice), I feel disturbed by the actions of people like this. I will advise him ... if he does not heed my actions or do not respect what I say, the material continues to commit violations which ultimately makes some gamblers feel annoyed because of him, I will report it to the moderator. because I think his actions have made gamblers uncomfortable or at ease when betting. it's important to follow up .....

Sometimes I do get people's attention but mostly I don't care what happen on chat because honestly, sometimes I am one of those violators. I think it's the job of the PD Mods and staff to check everything doing good.

yes ... i agree with what you say, friend ..
I also really hate new players in primedice who register using an alt account as a referral ... using a new account to berate other players, create riots and so on ... fortunately our moderators at primedice are moderators who are fast, swift, agile, and skilled so the account owners who are troubled are quickly removed.... 👍👍

That's not a bad idea really, though I'm not sure how you could force someone to read the rules before they register.  Maybe a pop-up and then make them agree that they have read the rules/regs before they complete registration.  Of course they could just click that they acknowledge them, but at least they could be accountable from day 1.
