Betting Systems - Effective or Not?

Recommended Posts

Hi PD players,

Today, I just wanted to share some thoughts regarding Betting Systems.

If you're a professional gambler or a fan of gambling in casinos, you might have heard or have been offered to purchase or to subscribe on books offering strategies or some betting systems.

Others, wanting to get ahead of the house, and wanting to win big are being caught by these offers. Without knowing if its effective or not. Mainly or simply because these betting systems are all "scams".

For example. How would a person know how much to bet on each hand of Blackjack, as it states on an specific system that you read on a book that you purchase? Will you just follow the system until you bust?

Another example, to be more connected with PD. When you bet on 2x, or lets just make it 1.98x, wherein you have 50% chances of winning. Lets say you will follow the Martingale system. The longer you do this system, the more you will lose, no matter how much money you have. Even on 1.01x. The longer you do it, the more you lose.

Nevertheless, a gambler should only trust his guts, and luck. Followin a system doesn't really give any advantage. Take note of that.

Thanks for reading! 👌

That's what I'm trying to say before. If you have the guts to risk your money and you feel lucky then you need to trust and go gambling. If that system really works then PD and other casinos will close.

That's right. If there were such system that could beat the house every single time, then nobody needs a job and will just play at the casino. 😂

So I dont personally trust any system or strategy. I think its just a matter of how you will use it. 💯

its one way or another maybe haha anyways there are no good strategies or systems out there cuz in the long run youll eventually lose it all if you dont know when to stop and cash out ur profit then youll be ended broke. And i believe in the saying "risk only what you can afford to lose". dont just be greedy and play safe at all times.

I agree with what you said. We should know when to stop, regardless of how good our strategy is. Coz in the end, like what I mentioned above, there's sustainable system that can make you beat the house. ✌🏽💯

I agree with this completely.  Following a system can sometimes make you nice profits in the short term, but the house will always win in the end.  Gambling on games where no skill is involved, as you said you must trust your gut and have luck on your side to be successful.

I do not buy books, I do not follow anyone, I look at what others are talking about, I make an analysis of the case presented, if I have great results, then I see what I can add with this experience to my game system.

you are right, we when we decide to gamble, we already know the risk of winning or losing, so we must be prepared for that. but we also do not have to surrender ourselves and only hope for luck, but we need to learn the game strategy that we play, not playing carelessly with just relying on luck

These system are just for 30% right to gambling. You can’t let these strategy with auto bets.if you do you will lose sometimes. Your decision is 65 % important to win and 5% is about luck . Decision means right things to do ( such as don’t rage, should I stop or play and so many things) . Raging is good for some time. Sometimes you should stop gambling for rest of the day. Professional gambler didn’t play 24 hours per day. So you need to set maximum amount you can lose and maximum amount you want to win . When one of these goals hit , just stop for the rest of the day

Not only do betting systems fail to beat casino games with a house advantage, they can’t even dent it. Roulette balls and dice simply have no memory. Every spin in roulette and every toss in craps is independent of all past events. In the short run, you can fool yourself into thinking a betting system works, by risking a lot to win a little. However, in the long run no betting system can withstand the test of time. The longer you play, the ratio of money lost to money bet will get closer to the expectation for that game.

Absolutely, systems only work in the short term generally.  The house edge is there for a reason... to ensure that the casino always gets theirs in the end.  The longer you play, the more the wins and losses tend toward the house edge.
