Plo zoom challenge

Recommended Posts

Hey guys thought I'd share my plo zoom challenge here I'm doing this month. I started with $20 USD and I'm aiming to get over $100 in 30 days playing only plo zoom I should roughly end up playing around 10k hands but here's my results after almost 700 hands.

I'll update my progress after a couple thousand more hands in a few days if any of you poker players have advice let me know cos this is pretty new to me :)

That is awesome! Poker is one casino game where you can make good money from it... constantly. Unlike other casino games, which have a house edge, Poker allows you to skip the house edge and play against other players, not the casino :)

Thanks I'm going to try play atleast 1k hands per day which should take just over 2 hours keen to see how I progress as the month goes on, I've definitely been a bit to aggressive at the start but I deemed it necessary. :)

It's not bad, if you play poker well you can win a lot more than $ 100 a month.

Which poker game types do you suggest to win a lot more than those $100 per month?

Probabily the Sit and Go tables? Or the simple online Casinos where you can pick any kind of games?

Are not these 2 images containing the same information? oO

So you basically won $9.41 from those 700 hands? How much it took you?

And do you have a website where you are playing at / from?

I'm playing cash pot limit omaha at the microstakes ($2 buyins) on pokerstars and yeah in roughly 700 hands now I'm up $22 ($9.41 is how much I'd win based on pure math so we automatically know based off this stat I'm running hot.)

which if you see bb/100 averaging 70 at the moment is about double what an online pro expects to make on average over a large sample of hands so I'm off to a bit of a lucky start. 😛

Yes it is the same image twice it would  only let me paste it like that,

To win over $100 consistently I'd say practicing till one would be decent enough at mtts and then go pick good spots, there's lots of smaller sites now that mean smaller player pools and easier wins but it really depends how much you want to play and what format of cards you enjoy playing.

But to win against other players, you need to have exciting tactics or scenarios. You can increase your bets after each turn to put pressure on other players to make them give up. Poker is a game that uses intelligence, and luck is not necessary.

It's still a bit of both to be honest people are to quick to dismiss the luck elements of it but If you only sit there and move when the stats are 100% in your favour people will hardly ever give you a good value for your hand so aggression and risk taking is rewarded. It's about knowing when to push your luck and when to back off.

I know that luckily makes it easy to win every game. And we should not be too confused when your score is too low, trying to make us worse. Sometimes, we should give up when the chance of winning is little.

I'm not really sure what you're saying are you talking about equity? :)

You cannot always win in all games. Profits get through the tactics and a bit of luck. In Poker, you must have cards that are linked to each other to win. Not too greedy if you only have two leaves 5.

here's a one week update for you guys sorry it keeps posting it in doubles, I didn't reach nearly the amount of hands I would've liked to but I kept going on sick upswings and though it was better to keep the sessions short while I was up 3-5 buyins and go study instead :)

I followed you, and I see you reached $ 33 / $ 100 with $ 20. I think you can earn $ 100 before your estimated time, good luck and complete this challenge.

I'm already at $94 including the bonuses I got from rakeback so yeah will probably hit $100 tomorrow for a sick 40buyin upswing in 8 days hopefully the rungood sticks around.

Same thinking here from what i have seen from his screenshots and profits from his bets it looks like he can hit such great profit mark.
