Mute or Disable Notifications Option

Recommended Posts

I originally posted this on Stakes forum, but thought it may be a good feature for PD too as I know some users here feel this would help their rolling.

When you are rolling, and you hit that big bet, or are hitting big bets back to back that get you on the high roller list, you suddenly get flooded with notifications.  These notifications may be from friends congratulating you, or telling you to slow down.  But notifications also come from people trying to add you as a friend because they think you are rich all of a sudden, and they come flooding in.  These notifications tend to upset more than one of the gamblers I have met, and so we were wondering if it would be possible to have a "Mute Notifications" or "Disable Notifications" feature.  This would enable players that like to gamble in peace some days not get upset with notifications.  I love chat myself, and usually head there after a winning session to have some fun.  But the few times I've hit the high roller table, I've gotten so many notifications, that I got really upset and lost focus on my gambling, which is costing me coin.  I hope this suggestion make sense and I hope it will be useful for some of the other gamblers on this site.

I always say that when I'm playing I hate to be told good luck, especially when I'm in high roller mode, it makes me lose my concentration.

So, I decided to close the chat when I'm actually playing and this way I do not pay attention and messages or anything. If I see that a person keeps filling me with messages, I exclude the person.

This is a casino, I have the goal of making money and I can not lose money, if the person does not understand this and is disturbing my mission, I remove it from my list of friends, because I do not disturb anyone, I do not ask for money and I have common sense to know that the person is in a dangerous, critical or stressful time and that this way I should not mess up. I believe that what is missing for many users here is common sense and education.

Or we have to close the chat or delete people or hide the bets in high roller mode. Cheers!!!

Go to More>Settings>Preferences>

Untick the fourth option. This will prevent the PM spam. As for friend requests, just ignore them since primedice is a social gambling site we want the community to be friendly to each other. Any beggars will be muted accordingly so please report them as soon as possible with screenshot proof.

I a gree with you. sometimes friend requests just come when we hit a high dice roll, or get a big payment.

how could the beggars still roam. I was very angry when that happened to me. several times I complained about this problem to support, and several times they had been muted, but there were always new beggars popping up.

I think the need for measurable decisive action against players like this. I hope you understand the direction of my words

i totally agree. It’s very annoying in the middle of your play. You can’t focus, you’ll be distracted. Maybe we close the chatroom or ignore the person. Enjoy sam and goodluck☺️

Indeed , when you are in a middle of a run and you 're flooded by notifications coming from friends it can be very annoying and can make you lose your focus , so yeah it would nice feature to be able to disable notifications.

Notifications are important sometimes, in a sense when the 'update is available' (you cannot and should not be able to disable those), and the notifications that someone has tipped you, that you received the rain, that your deposit has been credited :) In the middle of the game, as your balance is increased in any of the three ways that I have mentioned, if you have notifications disabled and do not see this, your decision-making will be affected highly, you might bust the funds you didn't even noticed were added to your account ;)
