Primedice Chat Dying ?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I'm Just wondering , what happened to chat , i've been playing and chatting in Primedice for 3 years and i've never seen such a desperation and sadness..... PD has no longer the most active chat among gambling sites, really sad when it used to host the best community ....

Well, i already mentionned some of the reasons which leaded to this situation but seems admins doesn"t care of values like loyalty of players , they obviously think about their interests first which is  logical , business is business....

I just want to say that without our community PD won't be the site it has become, we all made its success.

Ps: The Content , my opinion obviously can evolve with the context and if we see some reaction from the persons in charge.

I think everyone left Primedice for Stake, because stake offers more games, the owner is the same and the strategy can be applied the same. Even support is the same. Then giveaways and promotions are on Stake than on PD. Its just like that.

I wish PD will come back to her former Glory but I don't think that is possible. People leave everyday, and its annoying. Before the maintenance that was carried out on the sit tonight, I came online and saw 149 people online, that is quite way too low.

I wouldn’t always pull the Stake argument. A lot of chatters got scared away from all the beggars and raindancers. Of course they have a tough time coming back.

Sometimes there is a topic on chat and it goes for a while.. until someone starts to spam and suddenly everyone stops to talk. I don’t know yet how to fix that, but it’s kind of annoying.

Best thing to do is having actual conversations instead of „wow good bet“ and what not. Or a hello flood from like everyone.

In the early years of PD the core of chat were always the people who were there because of the faucet, they claimed it they bet with it and before they could claim it again they chatted.  There were beggars that time too but it was not so visible due to the busy chat. After faucet got decreased a lot and rainbot was implemented people started to spam nonsense just to be able to get rain, chat started to look bad. Of course it makes people not to use it, because you can't even have a normal discussion without seeing a "thx rain", "thanks bot",  "hi", "gl" messages continuously and nothing else. I agree that Stake attracts a lot of people but mostly during the time when the daily challenge is running and Ed does the rains. If we do not count that period, then only twice as much people are there than on pd chat maybe a bit more (which is not that surprising if we take into consideration that there are 12 games there more possibilities to play), but it is mostly spam there too... I think we have like 10-20 members who are the core of chats on both sites, they try to have discussions and as stake is a bit more active right now it looks better there. But if you check the quality there are not that big of differences. I think after the daily challenges calm down at stake, it will go back to almost the same as it was before. I had to stop running my chatgame, as i am kinda busy at work, but also because it is not possible to run it in current chat due to lack of activity. i really think it will change it is just a "bad" time now . Don't give up on chatting we will see the chat blooming once more ;)

I also agree with Zoltan. But I think there's more to it than just beggars and a lower faucet. A lot of people were in to crypto because Bitcoin was just pushing it's price up and up. Now that there was this huge bear market, I believe a lot of people left crypto. But this means that as soon as we get back into a bull market and Bitcoin and the rest of the market start getting mainstream media attention again we will most likely see the amount of crypto users increase and see more people inside the chat and here on the forum.

I hope Primedice can further improve its quality. I think people are leaving, turning to the stake. maybe because there they are more something primedice doesn't have. like the game that can be said more. and they can switch games when they feel something saturated.

I also hope that Primedice can rise and be able to compete with other gambling sites.

sometimes ... when I'm online, I see the number "110 online", I think, why so few people join Primedice. I am sad because I love Primedice so much.

hopefully one day primedice can rise and shine brightly from other gambling sites. I really hope it will come true

Chatting is talking or conversational writing. In another sense, chatting is a conversation between two or more people in real time through an internet network. Chatting is one of the facilities offered by the internet to its users to communicate directly through conversations. The more common way to chat is to type a message on the screen and it will be returned with a message again, such as how to send an SMS. However, chatting on the internet is not limited to the number of characters so users can write messages long enough. but now most users use chat only as a condition to get rainbot. and maybe the chat is quiet because the users are busy playing dice to get profit

Well we got a fast reaction from admins and managers , all bugs are fixed and i'm really glad to see that. Whether or not many players left for Stake , don't forget that Primedice is the place where all started, and real chatters will stay because they do it for pleasure first of all, cheers and best of luck to all!

I mean we've had a good run but it does seem like everyone prefers stake now days :(

Well that's true and it's actually way better like that, less spam, less begging so we can bet quietly being focused. But sometimes it's kinda annoying that chat is empty due to Stake's giveaways while almost every user goes there either to participate in challenges or spam to rechieve some rains afterwards. I guess that will be kinda fixed while Primedice gonna start going some daily challenges aswel. For me, Pd deserves way more traffic than right now while it is an all time classic btc casino!

Chat on Primedice will always be an problem. All type of users and  sometimes it's hard not to say anything less good when you get lost.

As someone said/pointed out again, the reason people moved away from PD are the beggars. Jeeez there are a whole lot of beggars that want you take you out root and stem. Its always very annoying and not okay. I really wish, PD can get the beggars without us reporting to Support. I am on stake now, but I still find my way around here. Though people can't think like me, I just feel the Argument about people moving to stake is cancelled. There is no game like dice and Hilo. 😁

On this platform, winning or losing may be more important than conversation.
