Whats the reason for begging?

Recommended Posts

Hey Dicers!

So. This is a very important topic for me. And the simple question is: "Why do people beg on Primedice"?

Most simple and easiest answer is: Because they can. Yes they can. Doesn't mean anyone should of course ;)! But what I'm really wondering about is the motivation behind it? I mean, they probably wouldn't beg on the street or would they? Guess not.

I believe simple reasons as the felt anonymity plays an important role in this theater. We all know how easily we feel save and anonymous on the internet. But we forget that we are branding our account with every kind of behavior. That doesn't stop anyone, I know :D.

Begging on Primedice almost feels like a thing that happens at least one time in two hours. Maybe more. From my point of view begging is the worst you could do. I find it kind of shameless to do so. Before anyone now catcalls me here for my view, let me explain:

Begging is a terrible thing and I feel bad that people have to do it for reasons. But don't tell me anyone with access to the internet (through mobile or computer) has the absolute need of begging (in a casino). Do that in Las Vegas and you can be happy if you leave Las Vegas unharmed - I guess.

Before I'd come online to Primedice or any site to beg for money, doesn't matter if passive or offensive, I'd rather sell my computer or/and phone.

Allright, I shared my opinion on this, explained a little what I believe the reasons are. But I'm curious what you guys have to say about this massive begging on Primedice. Let me hear it :)!

Well, begging on primedice doesn’t happened too much those days, but still. I’m sure most people are begging because the don’t have money to play or deposit, that’s why it happenes. In this way u shouldn’t come to casino,if u don’t have money. But most of them can’t understand it ,cause they come and think that they can earn free money here. That’s my opinion:)

You have no idea how many we get per day.

Talking about free money we have so many methods of getting free money into your account if you are willing to contribute something and get along with the community. Not just a free faucet (because its amount is very low, agreed), We have rains everyday from the staff, a forum which pays for posting and also the giveaways every week. Just keeping this measly contribution to the community can earn you some coins to play with, but its not possible to teach that to the people blatantly asking for coins.

For me, beggars are worse than rats. This is very annoying. Most of them think that since you are successful, you must share with them. Many are divided, but asking specifically is very bad. Some people write in the chat 'Wow a great win!' Praise on so much to get a tip. Or write to the PM and asked to lend or just give. This is a big problem with PD. This is visible everywhere on the net. Sometimes it seems that this is some sort of fashion. 'I am here - you owe me for this'

Reminds me of a situation on Stake. I won the last lottery and was on chat a few days later. Thats when a user asked my why I wouldn't share my win. Didn't give him an answer.

I don't know why people think they have any right on other people money. Seriously. How can one be that "frustrated"? If its the right term, I don't know. But I would wish everyone would just try to be a good part of the community and stop risking their accounts. But somehow it has to work, otherwise I can't imagine they keep coming back.

Greed and envy. I see no other reason.

I think the whole reason for begging is because people want to play but they don't want to play with coins they bought themselves as they obviously don't want to lose them. Other times, they just dont have or can't get coin and want to play, but this is not right either as someone who isnt able to have any coin shouldn't be gambling...doesn't add up. Either way, begging is flat out annoying. Especially when people beg over and over again. I feel as though I can't even give out tips anymore bc they might come back and keep asking for more, whether directly or passively. I really wish VIPs had a separate chat room they could use (people who wager over a certain amount) to prevent a lot of the newer beggars.

Every gambling site have user who used to beg every time. They are something like professional beggar. They got punishment for it but never stop. Always continue on their way. And this really true that many user get huge profit by begging where others deposit and get little profit or bust it. Some people think that if other one winning he might give them something as he is winning. The beggars don't see that actually what is the overall profit of that user. If they found someone winning little they start begging.

All was already mentioned, like you've read most of the people's minds. Ehehe. :D

Anyway, my take away is, the reason for begging is because there are people who are tolerating begging and is giving out to them. Its kinda simple: Don't give, so no one would ask.

Though, there are people who are really persistent of begging on chat relentlessly even no one's paying attention to them.
