SammyA123 39 #27 Posted February 19, 2019 Hey interesting question and I like the responses I've read here. It seems like a pity that many countries still dont have bitcoin ATMs. We've got loads of them over here though. I've bought and sold at bitcoin ATMs a bunch of times. The fees seem higher and the exchange rate is bad here though. Thats why I prefer to buy using other methods myself. But they are very convenient for people here and I know a lot of people that use them. Great topic! 1 UltraChief reacted to this

This can be understood by the fact that bitcoin is still having a low popularity than other currencies and there is not much competition in this sector of service. If some more companies start providing this service then fees would becomes lower. 1 SammyA123 reacted to this
ttrtrades 41 #29 Posted February 19, 2019 I live within walking distance of 2 btc ATMs. I use them both on a semi regular basis. The fees might be a tad high, but the whole process of turning a note from your wallet to btc is so fast and easy that i like to use them.

Even though the fees may be high, the convenience of having an atm right there is super convenient and I definitely think I will make use of it

akmal1984 31 #34 Posted April 5, 2019 I have never used it before. In my country there is still no ATM to make transactions as you tell. I really want to try it. Maybe one day here there will also be an atm like that. Or maybe when I went abroad I happened to see atm with the bitcoin logo I would try it.

Eventually, people here will start to embrace cryptocurrency in the years to come. 👍 I don't think so that it is becoming popular in your country but it has become very popular in your country because whenever i buy something from online and the owner is from PH he / she always accepts cryptos . lint59 55 #38 Posted April 20, 2019 I used it once in a zurich coffee shop .... The conversion charges were quite high 10% ... Though it's just a coffee for 4 so who cares... I doubt people would use the card outside of atms for any major purchases...

My suggestion always sell online with trusted members.
lupandina 168 #42 Posted April 21, 2019 I used it some time ago, as there were few ATM's in my place, which were crediting cash as btc to Spectrocoin account. Now Spectrocoin shutted down this option, so no more alternatives for me
