dmbadillo10 840 #1 Posted October 7, 2018 Heya guys, How's everyone? Hope you guys are having a great time! Just wanted to spill out some thoughts, and of course ask yours as well. This is going to be about a person's attitude towards other people that he or she interacts with. We are all communicating through internet, and this generation is well knowledgable on how internet works. We meet and greet with people that we only see in pictures. Sometimes, not their real pictures at all. (Lol.) We start to know the person, under a user name, uniquely created to show identity. Meaning to say, we speak and interact with people that we don't really know. This kinda normal nowadays, again, because we now live on the world of internet. Our webiste, which we play on, is consist of people worldwide, on different languages so to speak. We make friends, talk and goof around on the chat room. There will be times that you will notice some ruckus going on on the chat room, between 2 players, or sometimes even more. Even worst, in groups. Sometimes, a player picks on another player, and the pandemonium starts ending with chaos on the room. Even so, that we don't see or know the person or the player personally, I believe that attitude towards a fellow player is an essential to maintain good relationship with others on to keep the gameplay healthy. Let me list down some of the things that I believe that would be the Pros and Cons of having a good and bad attitude towards a person on a gambling site, or most likely, on any other sites that has a communication channel: Showing a good attitude: It will establish good relationship with others. It will create a healthy environment all around the site. You'll have good friends to talk with on your rest time. Conversations on chat would be more fun. There will be less chance of you, getting banned or muted. You'll have a clean reputation as a player on the said site. Showing a bad attitude: Less people to talk with you. Your reputation is tarnished due to the bad mouthing. You'll just be stressed out, as no one wants to talk with and no one likes you. You'll create a bad influence to others, most likely new comers and will replicate your bad attitude. Will lead you to eventually, leaving the site, getting muted, worst, getting banned for bad words and arguing with others. These are just the things that passed through my mind. You can leave a comment if have any other things to add. At the end of the day, ATTITUDE matters. In the office, in the school, at the resto, on any other place.. Even on an online gambling site too. 2 Bojana and AlphaStorm reacted to this

MrNice23 446 #4 Posted October 7, 2018 Interesting topic , what is a good or bad attitude for you, as we know that all's relative.

Well, lemme just give a scenario or an example: If one of the player in chat argues with you and is bad mouthing you already, that's showing a bad attitude towards a co-player. If someone talks to you calmly, with reasonable responses in any types of topics being talked about on chat, that's one example of a good attitude. Another example, if lost some coins and then you're cussing over chat, that's a bad attitude. Staying in tact and just chilling out on chat, would be the counterpart of that. Those are just some samples. Hope I answered your question. 1 MrNice23 reacted to this
MrNice23 446 #6 Posted October 7, 2018 Yeah thanks , that's a good example of good attitude , and most of us think same i hope, but we can understand that these kind of regrettable attitudes can often occur in a very active chat like Primedice has. 1 dmbadillo10 reacted to this

Yea. Agreed. We cannot really stop the bad attitude 100%, since everyone is just a human being too, getting pissed or having a bad day or so. But this can be minimized by letting people know that attitude matters wherever you interact, internet-based or in person.

Such things happen in chat often but the best way to prevent them is to just ignore the person who is picking on you. But then we have the "Ignore" button as well 1 phpkiller reacted to this
AlphaStorm 200 #9 Posted October 7, 2018 This is an interesting topic. Chatting relationships have always been strange to me. I'll tell the story. When I came to PD, chaos was happening in Russian chat, a lot of insults, many beggars, a lot of robberies. I was disappointed and even wanted to leave. But I came with a few friends and we started chatting with each other. Gradually, people came to communicate with us and the chat became more pleasant, curses became less. Yes, they didn’t stop fighting completely, but it became much better. I think the whole thing is a good example. Just do not fall for provocations, do not be fooled, and you will see the result. 1 phpkiller reacted to this
Bojana 1,672 #10 Posted October 7, 2018 As always, I like your topic, @dmbadillo10, this is something that definitely needs to be discussed further, since lately we have noticed that some users are on chat for one purpose only - to spew venom on others due to their own personal frustrations. Maybe this was always the case, people don't like to lose, and that creates a huge feeling of discomfort in many. Our task, as support and mods, is to defuse the situation at hand, which is not always the easiest of the tasks, maybe even the hardest one so far. One thing is for sure, and I agree 100% with you there - no one wants to talk to a user who insults and attacks everyone else, and who thinks is better than the rest. We understand the situation on chat is not always the greatest, there are many passive beggars, people who are there only for rains, but there are also regulars and people with whom you can have a normal conversation if you only want to Focus on those! My suggestion, and perhaps the most painless solution - live and let others live... If someone is cluttering the chat with spam, put it under the /ignore command (it is placed there for a reason), or report to us, friendly warn 1st, many options. If someone is PMing you, asking for funds and disturbing you in general, a screenshot will do for us to check that person's activity and help you get rid of the pest. Bear in mind also, that support's main job is to tend the tickets and help users with their accounts, not supervise the chat, so we are a few clicks away when you need us. Mods are there, sometimes online, and sometimes lurking, so feel free to contact them as well, we will all try to help you of you feel uncomfortable with chat situation. Live and let others live... (once again!) 😎 2 1 phpkiller, dmbadillo10 and MrNice23 reacted to this

CaptainLorca 903 #16 Posted October 8, 2018 So I skippeeeeeed over the most parts of here. Its late.. I'm tired. And Lazy. And this is a adorable doggo: https://www.quora.com/Why-is-the-Shiba-Inu-breed-too-cute <- Didn't post a picture, because bigger distraction in that case. Anyway.. my blabla on topic: The most important rule of it all is the following one: Don't be a dick! Be nice as you would be to your parents that love you. There will always be someone who just wants to see the whole world burn (I AM BATMAN). There are always people with a god complex or thinkin they're better than you. Some are racist, some are chauvinistic.. but don't you go bad?! Stay nice and calm. There is no need to engage a fight or anything. People want that and they love to trigger you. Even different opinions can lead to.. hot topics and brutal discussions on Chats / Forums / Trainstations. But that where the child is buried (German saying). People are different - they have different opinions and different behavior. If everyone would just watch their own steps a little, I bet it could be better. But some just can't resist the urge to shit around every time. You have them in real life as well.. and you know that they don't have much people to really talk to. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell summed up: Don't be a dick and imagine you were in a small room where everyone got a knife. You don't wanna be the one getting stabbed, because you stabbed someone or just being the victim gettin stabbed. You're one of the people I saw on chat when I was noob, and somehow, someway, you were able to talk, discuss and have some fun on chat with me. So you know what I mean when I say "just like before.".
