Martingale. Y or N?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I'd like to know your opinion about Martingale technique. In particular I'd like to start using it in online roulettes. Do u think that it worth trying with a budget of more or less 3000? I found this guide https://casino.guru/roulette-scam-strategies and they say it's better not to use it; but people who introduced me to martingale told me that winning is actually possible.

Personally it's a bit hard to make a decision; in case it's a fake strategy, i'd rather spare me from loosing all of my saves like a dumb you know? =D

Any more specific info about? Someone who used it in the past?

Thank you a lot  =D

It can't be called scam as nobody steals your money, but it can be called a money-consuming or if you like to a bad strategy.

Just think how many reds for example can appear. It isn't that uncommon to get 11 reds in a row. If you're going to play with martingale, then a balance of over 1mln is required to be "safe".

In the long term play any strategy will make you lose more than what you earn. Martingale in particular can make you lose money even faster because of two things :

1. Every casino has a limited maximum payout. For PD it is in bitcoin 30btc.

2. Mathematically your bankroll is not infinite which is assumed infinite for a martingale to be profitable.

In a "strategy" you don't really count on luck. That's what strategies are for, to eliminate the factor of luck as much as possible, but sadly there isn't any strategy to do so and more than that, with no strategy you can win if you don't bet high and "for fun" to say so.

I belive there are good strategies about it but i do not belive that i found the right strategy to be honest. 😃

Doubling your bet is, at times, unavoidable-- consistently doubling through losses is perfect formula for a bust, simple. Incremental raises of 1%-75% depending on probability is a much more sound approach.

I once used martingale on dice game on 1xbet and it worked fine.  My advice for you is to know when to stop. No strategy works forever.  Goodluck

I've used MG since the first PD bot came along but not with 50/50, other bet % and raises. It probably makes 0 difference in the long run but I am 1 BTC profit with 1.5m bets if I count both big accounts.

I never again use  martingal  cause its not  safe  and  i  always try  to minimize risk and looses . With martingal  you can reach looses  you cant effort  and  that is the  worst  thing   for a  gambler,  always  protect your balance

If they are trying to protect their balance then they should not gamble their money at all - dont you think? Martingale is just one strategy of gambling but its neither going to end up good or bad in long term. Most of them time it will wipe out your balance if you dont stop while in green.

Using martingale it is possible to get 20 or more losses in a row (at 2x) which would bust your balance even if you started betting small. You could try out a modified martingale that i sometimes use, which is doubling until say 10 losses or 15 losses in a row (you set the limit) and when you reach that limit, then bet the same amount until you get a win. This way you could avoid busting, at least.

I don't think you can work 100% with martingale in roulette game since the casino has house limits and maximum winning amount. Another fact  is that even playing a long game not bring a change to player favour so if you doubling always it can be busted in one wrong turn. So it is better test the luck by making short and sweet .
