19bani85 34 #1 Posted April 7, 2018 Google bans cryptocurrency mining extensions on Chrome:- LoL After Facebook and Twitter, Google has cracked down on malicious cryptocurrency mining extensions on its Chrome platform. Until now, Google Chrome`s web policy permitted cryptocurrency mining in extensions as long as it is the extension`s single purpose and the user is adequately informed about the mining behaviour. I can't find reason why they all hate it. They won't let us live in peace. 1 Noeprellik1 reacted to this

They overwork your cpu/gpu and in the end you don't rly earn while the company makes out. That and a lot of them have spyware looking to get your btc log ins and what not. Not to mention it's not profitable anyway.. Not worth. Good step and if you rly want to sue an extension there are workarounds but I would stay away. Just my opinion. 1 19bani85 reacted to this

shary 11 #8 Posted April 15, 2018 such a good move, banning bitcoin adverts in cryptocurrency is a good move for the costumers and for the company as well,, those ads destroy the CPU, they should've ban it long time ago,, but still a good move

Noahbreezy 261 #11 Posted April 30, 2018 Mining from extensions is not profitable in any way, I suggest that you invest in mining if you really want to earn some.

JstLikeMagyk 157 #13 Posted May 5, 2018 This is actually awesome news the rise of illegal mining via malware is skyrocketing and it's probably better if we start caring before we've lost a billion dollars from our beloved industry of revolution... CaptainLorca 903 #14 Posted May 8, 2018 Well.. its the right. Mining on a simple computer can really heat up shit and damaging it. So Google did a move to remove plugins who could harm your computer. Its kinda service from them. Providing plugins that wouldn't necessarily destroy your computer. I'm not surprised.
