White label products or build your own?

Recommended Posts

The Crypto Gambling Foundation has released another beautiful article today about the importance of taking the opportunity to build quality products form the ground up, rather than regurgitating other peoples code. Crypto is a new booming era, with plenty of growth opportunities and the ability to create new and exciting products. Do you agree that your goals during this boom should be to help reinvent our current practices or do we take white label products and build our own marketing strategy?

I think that a company should develop their own software if they have the means/can afford to.  When the market become stale and saturated with clones, companies that innovate will drive competition and attract customers. Also, it's important for a company to listen to it's users when developing new features and not just assume they always know best.

Well you should not start from scratch if you do not have the skills or knowledge to do it and that's why you have always to think about becoming a MANY -> 1 by using a current version you can adapt, modify into your own thinkings.

On the other hand if you have enough experience in creating something from 0 -> 1 than you are good to go and certainly will be someone with a unique product.

I have read Zero to One book (from Pay Pal's creator), you should read it as well which are the base fundamentals for this article.
