I suggest to invest in  Ethereum.

The coin lost $100 in its price lately, so it's a good time to buy it right now, because the potential is great.

But is it a good long term investment ?like after 10 years ..

I think it is. Imo ETH will be $500+ by the next Summer and it will be only rising in the future since.

Of course we can't avoid the volatility which is inherent to all cryptos.

ripple is the best long term anyways 500 is pretty small amount to invest in long term you need to take in calculation the opportunity cost then you see how much you loose exactly. good luck

xrp is stable from like 3 months .. I think there is much win in long term

I'd say BTU. Well, sort of. High profile BTC investors are looking to trade their Bitcoins for BTU before the fork, therefore heavily boosting the currency's price. I have strong reason to believe that after the fork, they will then trade their BTUs for the new Bitcoin, which will be called BIT 148. These high profile investors include Roger Ver. I'm quite surprised that only a handful of people made plans for the upcoming soft fork. Lmao.

EDIT :

New info suggests that Roger Ver is moving away from BTC, and will support BTU entirely, making BTU a viable option for long term investments.
