Chat Rules elaborated

Hello, Primedice!  

As you already know, Primedice has some new mods/community managers and we need to make their life a bit easier by implementing some basic Rules for you to follow and for them to be guided by. Each chat should have these and they should be followed if you want to be a valuable/respected member of the community.
 

1. Don't spam, harass or be offensive to other users. Also, avoid using CAPS.
2. Don't beg or ask for loans, rains, tips or doubling coins. 
3. Don't use alternative accounts (alts) on chat, that is strictly forbidden.
4. No suspicious behavior that can be seen as potential scams. 
5. Don't engage in any forms of advertising/trading/selling/buying or offering services.
6. No discussion of Twitch or any other similar platform.
7. Don't use URL shortening services. Always submit the real link. 
8. Use the designated language channels accordingly.
9. No politics & no religion talk in chat, this one is strictly forbidden.
   
   * Sub-rules and their further elaboration are given in the "Quote" below, so make sure to read that as well, for you to be fully informed on what is allowed on Primedice chatrooms and what it prohibited.
   * Moderators/support members/admins and community manages save the right to implement the rules as they see fitting and corresponding to the given situation.
   * If player has been muted multiple times over the same offense, their mute time would be extended, and it would slowly end to the permanent disabling of chat privilege, especially if their behavior does not correct after multiple warnings/mutes.
   * Rules can be changed and adjusted based on the needs of the community.
   * For some more serious breaking of our chat rules, you may be muted without being previously warned.

Harassing/bullying (in this case, cyber-bullying) sends inappropriate message about you - whether of being racist, chauvinist, sexist or just plainly uneducated individual. Reduce using the profanities to a minimum. Be friendly and jolly person that everyone looks forward to seeing on chat. Make friends, not enemies. *Additional note: Girls also like playing here, so let's make them feel like queens, not objects. *CAPS MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE YELLING! Makes chat look cluttered, and can get you muted. Harassment* of the bot, i.e. repeating multiple bot commands over a short period of time, will be considered spamming and result in a mute too. Overusing of different fonts and symbols as well, cluttering chat in any way is prohibited. **Do not share personal info of other players, and of yourself! - Please, respect the privacy of other players, as well as your own. Posting any personal info of another player will get you muted; this includes real life names/surnames, e-mails, social media links, address, phone number, and any other information that may jeopardize users' privacy. It is forbidden to invite users for correspondence to third-party messengers (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, etc), as well as inviting them to groups on the mentioned social media and instant messengers. It is forbidden to distribute any personal and contact information about players there.
 

2) Don't use alts on chat, beg or ask for loans, rains, tips or doubling coins. - One of the most common reasons to get people muted is asking for funds. Make a deposit, claim a Reload or get a random tip from our friendly administrators, moderators, community managers and support members. If you wager and chat constructively, rain-bot will award you too. Doubling coins would mean investing in someone to play for you, and return you the funds afterwards. If anyone from support, moderators or community managers notice this is happening, you could end up muted. If you are on chat from multiple accounts during a mod/support member/admin/user raining, we keep the right to mute one of your accounts. If we notice you passively begging for funds too, especially after the rain-bot implementation, we also keep the right to mute the users that are there for this reason only, to collect rains. It is up to management to assess the given passive begging situation and act accordingly. Pasting your deposit/withdrawal address on chat will be considered passive begging too, accident or not, so be careful. Also, do not thank the rain-bot, it has no feelings. Tipping those who actively wager/are in the middle of the game or on the HRs tab to attract their attention and expecting a bigger tip in return also falls under the category of passive begging.

3) Don't use alternative accounts (alts) on chat, that is strictly forbidden. Alternative accounts (alts) aren't allowed to be used on chat, and especially if your main account is muted - this is considered mute evasion. Choose one account and use it on chat, no exceptions would be tolerated. If we catch you with alternative account on chat we reserve the rights to mute both of your accounts. 

4) No suspicious behavior that can be seen as potential scams. Asking people to PM you, offering Telegram/Discord/WhatsApp contact/other forms of off-site communication is considered suspicious as well. Impersonating is strictly forbidden!!! Using well-known users' variations of username and/or just changing one letter or number to create a distraction will be considered a serious transgression and the accounts will end up perm-muted since this falls under abuse and a suspicious activity with potential to scam/misguide others. Also VIP talk or any other similar scheme are not allowed in chat. 

5) Don't engage in any forms of advertising/trading/selling/buying or offering services. (Traded accounts are permanently muted). - Primedice site is for betting only. Do not post links advertising products of any kind, because our site does not support this type of activity. The same goes for Forum - it is a not trading platform and staff won't engage into any trades made between the players, and in any way. Also, if we find you playing from a bought account, the account will receive a permanent mute.

6) No discussion of Twitch or any other similar platform. You are not allowed to have  a discussion about Twitch or any other similar platform, also you are  not allowed  to post or promote links to your/streams or your/streamer's usernames. (Twitch, YouTube or any alternative streaming platform). Saying you are "live" or inviting players on chat to join your stream is also strictly forbidden. Make sure to invite players outside Primedice platform to join the site, otherwise you could be muted without a warning, if we notice you repeating this offence. 

7) Don't use URL shortening services. Always submit the real link. - If you are sharing a link with your chat friends, post the full link, not the shortened version of it. Please, do not post referral links on chat, this is limited to Forum signatures only, and to the Primedice referral links only. Don't share links of other sites on chat, please, this is Primedice.com platform. Modifying the name of that site is still considered as a transgression, so don't play smart.
 

😎 Use the designated language channels accordingly. - Last but not the least; one rule which also gets many users muted is this one. Primedice welcomes diversities. But it is important to write English, whether broken or fluent English, on English chat, to use Russian on Russian, Spanish on Spanish, Portuguese on Portuguese, German on German, Filipino on Filipino, Hindi on Indian, French on French, and Indonesian on Indonesian chat. Challenges and Sports chat are considered English language channels too, but with a bit higher tolerance to slips that could occur. An occasional slip can happen from time to time on regular language channels too, but do not make a habit out of this. Do not get yourself muted for such a trivial reason. Language is important on Forum as well, there are many subsections for variety of languages, and if you are applying for the giveaway, it usually just includes your username in English posted on the thread.

I wonder if we could force new chatters to review the rules before they send their first message, since right now they're somewhat hidden in the interface.

It'd be nice if we could preempt some of the rule-breaking, so they can know the rules before a mod needs to warn/mute them.

We have received many complaints concerning the mutes, bans and more importantly, the reasons behind it.

 

Here are your beloved 'Chat Rules', which you can find by clicking on gear in the bottom left corner of your Primedice account, explained in depth.

 

Let's not get into trouble and make the work a bit easier for our moderators and us (support).

 

So, here we go...

 

1) Don't spam, harass or be offensive to other users. - Spam is every irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients. Harassing/bullying (in this case, cyber-bullying) sends inappropriate message about you - whether of being racist, chauvinist, sexist or just plainly uneducated individual. Reduce using the profanities to a minimum. Be friendly and jolly person that everyone looks forward to seeing on chat. Make friends, not enemies. Additional note: Girls also like to play here, let's make them fell like Primequeens, not objects. After all, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar, if you know what I mean...

 

2) Don't beg or ask for loans or tips. - One of the most common reasons to get people muted is asking for funds. Make a deposit, claim a faucet of get tips from HungerGames bot or our friendly administrators from time to time. If you repetitively do this offence, you are making a combination of spamming and begging which can get you a perm mute.

 

 

3) No suspicious behaviour that can be seen as potential scams. - Our security team works at full speed. If they notice a suspicious link being posted, an immediate action will follow, which, in the majority of cases, ends up with a perm mute.

 

4) Don't engage in any forms of advertising services. - Primedice site is for betting only. Do not post links advertising products of any kind, because our site does not support this type of activity.

 

5) Do not use a traded or bought Primedice account. - You will get recognised as a second owner and banned from using the account whatsoever.

 

6) Don't use URL shortening services. Always submit the real link. - If you are sharing a link with your chat friends, post the full link, not the shortened version of it. Do not post referral links on chat.

so .. maybe you could clarify bojana the specific things that would result in a permanent mute, I mean, I understand breaking any of these rules results in a mute of a period between anything form 1hr to a few days depending on the offense.. and I do know that for example, posting an ad link or referral link or if you've scammed some1 obviously.. can be an instant permanent ban. but what justifies a permanent ban for a member  other than that? And also, how come some members when reported for pm begging don't get any mute at all, yet other's do?  obviously..I'm only referring to when there is proof.

Yes, perm mutes go without question for those offences that you've mentioned. Posting PMs should not be done, since they could be easily faked, and all the insults and harassments from other players can be sent to us, the support, either via screenshot or copied conversation. Begging is not permitted, of course, but neither is insulting moderators and support for doing their job, especially when one has been warned many times.
