I don’t think that the boost is in correlation to the value of a crypto currency. Like challenge rewards, each challenge has the same BTC value each week, unless they decide to decrease the value like what they did this week. Apart from this week though, each challenge was 0.01 BTC and did not adjust to the price of BTC.

Gambling involved both risk and skill e.g self discipline/not making stupid bets. You are somewhat correct and gambling could be seen in the same way. Both involve risk and skill.
However, I know a few stock traders and there are more than it than sees the eye. It requires an immense amount of skill and quick thinking, to benefit from trades and make a profit.
Gambling on the other hand is purely luck, wel 90% of the time. People can count cards and sort cards, but that is only a small minority of gamblers. You can have the best strategy and it can still make you lose money at the end of the day.  

I never personally create forum topics here as there are only a limited number of topics that you can make about the site. Yes, you can waffle on and probably make an infinite number of topics, but I can imagine that the quality of these will be very low

I am a silver VIP on stake and I was thinking about levelling my account here to Bronze VIP, but I’m not the best at wagering with dice. Do you guys have a good technique or strategy to get a large wager with small losses being made?
I know that you could do the highest percentage win rate, but that strategy never lets me be in profit overall. On Stake, I enjoy doing this as I can recover my losses on mines.
So, could you give me some tips or tricks on the best way to wager for VIP.  
 

DO NOT DO THAT! Only gamble with anything that you can afford to lose, NEVER use your own salary to bet with. Just keep a savings account and store your 10% there, instead of using it for gambling.

like people buy tickets and like 95% goes to pot, (5% to pd as fee) as pd has a lot of people pots could get pretty big, or like none of you would like that?
its like lottery-jackpot (Where people put in money, and then one of them wins) but with like spots:
1) 50% of pot 
2) 30% of pot
3) 20%  of pot.
could do it either there is.. like 25 numbers and we pick 5, and then few people  can win those spots // picks up to 10numbers or stops , if 5numbers (1st tier) win .+ if first 5  numbers- a person's lottery numbers =jackpot. (its in dd like that)  1) 5numbers got  2) 4numbers got   3) 3numbers got
or like people just get a ticket and its  just like ticket:60 and from all tickets picks 1for 1st   1 for 2nd  and 1 for 3rd tier.

have you watched one of eddie's stream? His settings are like 1.2. .X then 200% increment on loss.

He was playing xrp when he did this though.

My favorite payout to try to wager a lot with trying to minimize losses is 1.15 or 1.2x.  I'll just set it on auto with 1000 sats or so bet and let it run, I use this strat in races quite often as well.

I haven’t bet a lot here, but I think that the most that I won was a 0.15 eth bet on a 2x multiplier. It isn’t s lot but I’m not really in to dice yet. Hopefully I get some more profitable strats for it in the future though.
