I have some! lol So after dogecoins quadrupled a while back I sold half and got some peer coins and litecoin.  I really like the currency, I keep it in a dice bank, and it's doing well.  It was cheap and overall the currency appealed to me.  In terms of dying, well I don't think it will.  If bitcoin and other currencies go up, it should follow.

I think it depends on the definition of pro gambler.  It might be possible to put away enough money and to risk it, and live of it for a while.  And until a bust come in theory that person is a pro gambler, cause they don't work and live off the winnings.  However it can be argued that the game cannot be beaten, since these gambler could simply be the lucky bunch out of many who try to do the same.

I like to store some crypto too, so if I bust, I try not to depo more.  It's important not to get carried away and loose everything, gambling is meant to be fun, otherwise loosing too much can be quite easy.  Holding crypto is like gambling too, it can certainly go up in the future.

Try Reverse Labouchère system.  It's a progressive system so most strings will be loosing ones.  Size your sessions accordingly. This system can have massive wins sometimes.  You'll feel like a doctor playing it since you need paper and a pen.  Not only is it easy to play once it's learned, but you also exercise your brain by adding numbers.  For something easier with no math or writing i recommend one two system.  When you loose bet one, when you win bet two.  You can also bet any ratio, bet one when loose, bet ten when win, etc.  No system will win in the long run, progressive or not, gambling is for fun.  Enjoy!

What is interesting about gambling addiction is that loosing too much money is almost a requirement to call yourself a gambling addict.  If someone tells you they are a hopeless gambling addict who plays five hours a day for the last two years, and you ask them how much they lost and they say five dollars in that period, playing micro stakes, is that person really an addict?  According to the definition, you can be a gambling addict, as long as you don't loose meaningful cash.  What you guys think about that?

    Hey dicers ,
After you bust your whole balance do you go and buy bitcoin instantly and deposit and continue playing or try to play with the faucet and try to win ?
After I bust I wont buy btc the same day but the next day and depo. And for the other day I will continue playing with the faucet.
So what do you guys do after a bust instantly depo or wait depo or play with the faucet ?

In my opinion addiction is not about how much you lost in a period of time but is about of how much time you spend gambling if's daily or not.

Interesting question but its impossible to lose only that much gambling 5 hours a day for the last two years no matter how small bet the person makes.  If that's the case then he/she is not really a gambling addict as he/she can very well control himself/herself to not gamble more than 5 hours a day and managing his/her bankroll well enough that he/she only lose $5 in that entire duration of two years.

That's a tough question hmm.  Maybe I'd keep 20% an return the rest, it's hard to know exactly what I would do in the moment.  Withdraw and run is definitely an option.

dicyprime reacted to Xantys in Green profit stats - is it important?
Hi guys! Hopefully most of you enjoy playing on Primedice. Whatever the reasons might be for you to stick to PD number one is probably earning some crypto
Thanks to the devs we have such feature as statistics on the site which helps us measure our profits. Off course we would like to see them all green in each crypto line. Unfortunately this is not the case for most of us. Personally I have one position red and frankly that annoys me a little bit I’ve been fighting lately to turn it green but made the situation even worse
And from to time I hear people shout in the chat they finally turned their profit on a specific crypto into green.  And I have seen a ‘green profit club’ players gathering somewhere in the forum.
But how important is that to you? Why would someone strive to achieve full green profits? See you may have some cryptos in red and some in green but the overall profit/loss depends on crypto value. Do you think one should feel fine as long as he is positive overall regardless of some crypto lines being red? Or maybe stats don't matter because you only measure your cash position by ‘deposted-withdrawn’ ratio?
Please share your thoughts and feelings.

dicyprime got a reaction from bigbrankx in Personal luck of a person!
It's always tricky when we see someone win a large amount, not knowing what their total profit or loss is.  Someone can win 10x on depo and still be down too.  But in terms of personal luck, statistically it is possible for a person to get super lucky.

dicyprime got a reaction from amarcrypto in Why we end up chasing losses in gambling?
I tried reversing this and start chasing wins, but it still didn't work, or was very hard.  But it is still fun to play for bigger wins with smaller bankroll, that way losses don't hurt much.

I think I'll go with 8 Strategy tester. I mostly like progressive strategies though, no the doge the bullet ones so much. Amazing list by the way, some of them are funny, like the martingale fan.

I've seen quite a few posters with increase on win and loss strategies.  I tried a few variations myself as well as simulated in excel, and they are fun but so risky.  But I guess everything in gambling is.

dicyprime reacted to amarcrypto in Why we end up chasing losses in gambling?
As gamblers most of the time we end up chasing losses. Although its not a logical decision to do yet we most of the time end up doing it.
First its important to understand what makes us to chase losses to better understand why we chase losses. All the decisions that we make in our life are based upon how much we put into something. It can be - time, money, effort, etc. The more involved we are into something the harder it is to abandon it. Which is why we keep doing something even though its not longer fun or entertaining.
So why we end up chasing losses in gambling?
While gambling when we suffer a loss, we usually loss both time and money which are both valuable resources. Most of us usually do not cope well with this situation and we try everything we can to recover back those losses. Even when we all already know very well what happens at the end.
Next time time when you get into such a situation of chasing losses. Think like this, " What's done is done. Regretting and Chasing those losses will not only worsen my present situation but also make me dig a deeper hole."
When was the last time you end up chasing losses?
Recently had one and as always it did not end well
Here is a simple guide to help you avoid chasing losses -  How to Avoid Chasing Losses.

Anyone ever play with switching and everything is going okay and than no matter what you switch to it comes red.  What a horrible feeling, I'd rather stay high and loose nine times in a row than for that to happen.  But yeah I call it trend following and apparently a lot of people like it.  They try to pick the stronger side.
