This makes so much more sense now - so the autobetting is linked to your live stats. I was wondering why it randomly stopped sometimes or randomly carried on betting sometimes. Great tutorial Kat, very helpful and informative indeed

Not this kind of topic again.. its up to Primedice to do what they want. Its free money still. Lots of side don't even offer a free faucet. So please don't be mad if Primedice decides to lower the amount of Satoshi coming out of the Faucet.
The Faucet was never intended to be something to make you rich. The Faucet is just to try out stuff. Don't rely on this. Just keep that in mind. If you wanna play serious, deposit. Thats all.

At first, what is purpose of faucet? Throw free money around or give opportunity to try games? If second, you can try game with 0 satoshi bet, it's all good.
But even for free money hunters, Primedice giving extra opportunities - pay per post forum and giveaways. I think, it's pretty enough

I live in an area where due to regional climate there is nothing other than meat to eat. But with the advancement of science and tech. and logistical progress , nothing is unavailable in the supermarket .  Vegetarianism is so underrated and taken for granted. In one of the super cold climates, I still am Vegetarian by choice. I think since childhood we are so ingrained and used to eating meat and it is almost served right on our plate that we fail to realize that what we are eating ,is literally cold blooded murder on our plate. no offense to everybody else.

If you ask me.. my biggest  all in is about 0.009 BTC
Initially my balance was around 0.01 BTC in my account, and I lost 100k satoshi using martinegale ...

Then I was upset, uh, immediately just bet all at 0.009 BTC at payment of 1.4x
I just hope it becomes easy, but fate has a different plan for me ... #BUSTED

I appreciate your comments.  I apologize if my tone was a little harsh, as I sort of was venting emotionally at the same time as analysing.  But I think you are right that a difference in tone helps.  So, I will be more aware of that in my criticism.  Sometimes, however, a harsh tone stimulates more lively debate and discussion, but we should keep it cool with each other, like you said.
I definitely can relate to what you said about the chat here.  I do enjoy it quite a bit and it was a big part of my gambling here, the community aspect.  I just felt that it was being ruined by beggars and poor management.  Sometimes, it's like talking into the wilderness unless there is a mention of money or a contest, and then suddenly the chat becomes ALIVE! lol You had some good tips to as far as how to deal with these situations.  I just felt some people were taking advantage, and I partially wanted to let them know publicly and clearly that the free ride is over, so don't bother hitting me up with alts.
I think a lot of frustration was accumaltated in my posts, but I do feel better now that I have expressed myself, and I thank Primedice for allowing a venue to offer critiques in an open manner.  I just want to also make clear that my overall experience at Primedice has been OVERWHELMINGLY positive, as far as the entertainment it has provided, and the excitement, so please don't take anything I said personally.  But I just felt if none of that was expressed it would just be left to fester.
(NB:  The only thing I want to offer a counter-argument to is this notion that the tipping feature is essential for being able to use bank accounts.  I am not saying that it is an easy thing to do, since I don't know anything about coding.  But I have seen features on other sites where you don't need to make an alt "bank" account, as your account comes with it's own bank or storing mechanism.  I believe it was duck-dice where I last saw this feature.  Again, I don't know the technical intricacies of implement something such as this, but I have seen it done other places.  You have one place where you store everything, and you can take from it whatever ammount you actually want to gamble with.  )

Yes, for sure!  I think it's healthy to express frustrations too.  And I think you made it very clear that the only solution will lie with us.  We can change the culture of Primedice community as it is up to us and our behaviors.
    ==========================================================================================================================

For the sake of the message not getting lost in the angry tone of my previous posts, I do believe that it is important I re-iterate my main points, which I believe are all still valid.  Hopefully, the tone of my previous posts still serves the important role of stimulating conversation, because I am not sure a completely dry and academic post would have done the same.
People need to recognize that the Tipping feature has a strong benefit of Primedice itself (AND I DON'T BEGRUDGE THEM FOR THAT. THE GOAL OF ANY BUSINESS IS TO MAKE MONEY!).  It serves as a secondary function to make things more entertaining, and also to maybe help a few people out in between deposits.  However, the primary function is to increase profitability for the business.  It is a fairly reasonable assumption that most tips you will ever give will get busted, therefore it will end up back in the casino. (NB: Out of all the times I have tipped, I can count on one hand the number of times people withdrew from the tip I gave that I know about)  This is not to say that this is a bad thing, I have to keep repeating this again, it is just to EXPLAIN what the real, or primary, purpose is.  Obviously, I don't imagine it is HUGE stream of income for the casino, but it is a stream of income none-the-less.
As a thought experiment, imagine if the tipping feature WAS entirely eliminated.  I think there is little argument this would greatly improve the quality of the community discourse and conversations as all of the leeches, hustlers, and scam artists will find another website where they can run their schemes and sympathy campaigns on their victims.  There literally won't be anything to take advantage of except for the 10 satoshi faucet, so most of these characters will just leave.  I also don't fully buy the argument of the bank accounts to need tipping to function as I have seen this implemented in other ways on other crypto casinos (see previous post).   However, I would never be expected to be seen as sane to ask a business to cut out a source of revenue.  They will only cut this when the costs become greater than the profit as any sane business would.
And to take everyone else's point, these people are not your "friends".  And friendships shouldn't depend on tips or dissolve completely you don't have any tips to give.  And I think certain people like myself need to recognize that and make a concerted effort to not tip again.
(NB: And one of the purposes of this post was to express the FRUSTRATION that, not just myself but, many Primedice users who are regular deposits, feel.  It is not a good feeling to know other peoples, who have no shame to beg, are getting a free ride, while I have to pay to play because if I was to ask for handouts, it would be an EMBARRASSMENT to me.  From a business standpoint, Primedice should recognize that the people who do actually deposit will become more and more inclined to just not go into chat in this environment, and this would, in my estimation at least, cause them to not tip, obviously, but also be less distracted by the chat and the social / community aspect and this would improve their winrate (which is a loss of profit in terms of the business of the casino).  Many of the regular deposit just come here to have a good time, but if the chat is not conducive to a good time, they will just either play seriously w/no chat OR they will just eventually go somewhere else.  So, they have to eventually see what is best for business.  This is just my 2 cents as a customer as I have no way of knowing the dollars and cents and business analysis of PD.  Ultimately, the business will do what is best for business, but we as consumers should feel empowered as well. )

I think that's pretty much all I have to say for now,
    Thank you, & Happy rolling

lint59 got a reaction from DiceMecca in A Scathing Critique of the Tipping System
I think along with calmness and constructive  positive critique we need to dissect the issue at hand that you feel.
    1)  Beggers :-
There will always be people who are broke and will be trying to make something out of absolutely nothing. You just can't do anything about that. Offcourse they will survive on tips, giveaways , contests etc .  When the site was super new to me ,  I got muted myself a couple of times for not following rules.  Offlately I have been warned about a couple of people who have benefited hugely by some people's generous tips when added cumulatively ( and that is a huge sum )

Solution :  One needs to be a lil aware to know who your real friends are . tipping /or not tipping does not amount to the judgement of ones friendship in the chatroom.
Golden rule: IF one asks for a tip , ignore/block ,reject, blacklist  whatever.  Realplayers might as well take a loan on the forum , play on the site and give it back to maintain the ecosystem.
    2) Casino Chatting ecosystem :  It would be pretty harsh on the house to judge them for being fancy. That would be the same to blame every mall, departmental store or a expensive boutique to place the nice goods near the entrance or the Food Cafe. The Mind likes change, colour, decoration , Art. if one  hates aesthetics, you can always switch over to the dicebot.  I think it is fun to be around in the chat , because i am very much nonsocial in real life. But i also like to chit-chat . I find it very strange that most of the social networking sites aren't designed in a way to make a real connection with people. Gone are the days of connecting to Yahoo chatrooms. Poker tables were supposed to be a great place to socialize, to catch up on nice stuff and to vet somebody. I so love this chatroom, once I find a habitual begger, i just ignore them and they are gone. C'mon be selfish @DiceMecca and use this ecosystem to your advantage.  You have supreme control over the ecosystem at the end of the day and thats what is exciting. Just weed out the rotten apples and you'll be fine. Some people here are Mods because they have precisely the skills and dry cocky humour to do this , like @Robear @TheFrog @hui ....

    3) Tipping System : Its a nice and a novel way to move funds intra-site without depending on the blockchain and waiting for confirmations. imagine sending 40k around and paying a 10k tip for transaction fee everytime. The micro divisibility of the bitcoin would be so useless if i couldnt move satoshis around. Imagine you getting a problem with a particular bet and the support has to give you a refund for that bet , how would they do it without the tipping Function.

These are just my 2 satoshis worth of advice brother. Please don't be so harsh , self condescending and depreciating . Ultimately this place is just a form of entertainment and i think it should be just that. Gambling should'nt be a source of income at all for anybody.

1/1000 for 22.22, this promotion is massive +EV!
If you play 2x and you wager 100 satoshi for 1000 bets then:
Expected amount of bets to lose based on house edge = 1% (house edge) of 1000 bets = 10 bets.
Expected amount of loss for 100 Satoshi bet = 1000 Satoshi.
    Payout is usually 50k -100k.
I don't know why you are complaining, to hunt these numbers doesn't require a large balance at all, its catered for people who don't have funds!

    Mods/Admins please read this:
I really think we should change the wagering requirement to minimum bet, not minimum profit, here is why:
To hit 22.22, you have a 1 in 10000 chance. Hence, a 0.01% chance, followed by another 0.03% chance to hit the next 3 numbers.
By having the profit requirement be 100 sats, and these extremely low odds, you exclude those people with lower balances from participating.
For example, even if I have a 98% chance of winning, I need to wager 10k sats just to meet the minimum wagering requirement. Just to hit 22.22, I would need to roll around 10k times. If I lose 2% of the time, this amounts to 200 losses, or 2,000,000 sats needed. AND, that is just to hit 22.22, never mind the other numbers.
Could you PLEASE consider changing this, to a minimum BET requirement, not a minimum PROFIT requirement?
Please consider this @Dan thank you
