- I take a break (5,10,30 (mins), to 1 hr) coz it just works for me. Sometimes I change the seed before I start. But I only change if I lost on my last bet.

I started learning Python a year ago and got distracted so didn't finish the course. 
The course I started was a good one, "Intro to Computer Science" from Udacity

It says it takes 3 months to complete but I'm hoping to complete in about 2 as I know a fair bit of IT already. 
The project for the course is to build your own search engine.

Any Primedice members interested in studying it? We could start at the same time, and post questions / help each other in a thread here, if you're interested?

This is really a great concept. Thanks for sharing! Its definitely something I never really considered until watching this. I can't believe we have simply conformed to a calendar that doesn't represent our true age.

In one of my nights jumping from youtube link to youtube link endlessly I fell upon this channel and ended up watching all of its videos (not on the same day, tho, they're a lot). By this I don't mean "owners" as in people who created it. I mean owners as in big time buyers. The BTC whales. If the people and groups who have invested the most on it decide to cash out, the price will see a notable drop. And people who get scared may sell also, contributing to it. 
But this may just be a strategy to drop the price and buy again at a lower price. Just a theory, tho.

I'm pretty sure you cannot establish a direct correlation between violent videogames and violent individuals. I've even played Carmageddon (that old game where you race with a car in a city and get points for running over pedestrians) and I haven't killed anyone in real life.
Yet I'm sure there are people out there who play farmville or some super chilling stuff like that and are murderers.
Violence has always been around. You cannot forbid it in games, movies, books or any expression. If people would just repeat anything they see in movies/games... welp, the world would be a wasteland.

Yeah it's hard to stick to your goals in the moment. If you're winning you're sure you can win even more; and if you're losing you just wanna recover what you lost. Both things can bust you.
