Honestly, everyone is already bothered with the network congestion right now and 150 sats/byte is taking over a day and a half to receive confirmations but I think 90k satoshis is too big of a fee, especially on small withdrawals. Withdrawing the lowest possible amount (400k) ends up giving us only 310k (nearly 1/4th)
From what I heard, I was expecting a user defined custom fee which could be set while withdrawing which is perfect.
My suggestion is simple, drop the withdrawal fees back to 30k while implementing the new custom fee setting thingy.

    Thanks.

Surprised this didn't happen a few years ago but here we are in the era of digital currencies taking over the likes of the entire stock market. Going to be a fun new year with Bitcoin at the top.

Sorry to be blunt here, but I don't consider your 'streaming giveaway' threads as quality posts at all. Users will end up giving you reputation points for your threads either ways because its a 'giveaway' so yeah it works for you streamers to end up on top of the boards while people struggling to make quality posts will remain below.

Have you ever read Satoshi Nakamoto's whitepaper on Bitcoin?

I suggest you give it a read if you would like to know how Bitcoin exactly works without any flaws in the system.

We see a tremendous amount of abuse in this (and other) giveaways that makes me really sad.
Be aware that we will block any users we find abusing giveaways and contest not only for the current one but also all future giveaways and contests. We are also considering further steps, too.

People abusing Primedice's generousity this way make a huge part of the reasons of why we can't have some nice things - so please understand that we have a 0-tolerance policy there.

I'm rooting for Bitcoin Unlimited here. They intend to make changes which the core team don't even plan on making (block sizes, number of transactions etc) and Bitcoin Unlimited promises these along with a lot of more efficient undertakings.

420BlazeItFgt reacted to 3mily in what is SEGWIT
So after a very simplified explanation of hard fork it is time for the next one that is : what is SEGWIT ?
For this will have to understand how a bitcoin blockchain transaction is working at the moment. In every bitcoin blockchain transaction you got one block of 1 MB size with many layers of information. To get the basic understanding i will only use two layers the header and the transaction. In the transaction along many inputs and outputs there is one important code that holds your signature and your public key that are used to confirm a legitimate transaction. This code has has a lot of data now so the 1 MB blocks are getting full making the network clogged. This is the so called scaling issue of bitcoin that SEGWIT is trying to fix with a different solution opposing the hard fork i described earlier.
So The Segregated Witness proposal to speed things up and scale the bitcoin protocol is to take away that code and put it into a separate block called an extended block this way reducing the size of a normal block making it faster. So now you will have the header and the transaction plus the extended block.
This is segwit as simple as possible.
Make sure to follow for a more in detail explanation. If you have any questions you can leave a comment below.

Everything will happen hastily and people will panic cash out and the price will see a significant drop. That might be the bets time for investors to go in with a big investment because when the dust settles, everything will be cool with BTC.

420BlazeItFgt got a reaction from Dan in Moderator Approved Posts
I see the forums got a redesign and the payouts are in bits rather than satoshis which is much higher than what was, previously. Yet, I still come across a lot of low quality, spammy posts which end up getting paid.
My suggestion is for everyone's posts to be approved by mods to be eligible to earn bits. Of course the mods will say no to this because its a hard job but what are you being paid for? (No hate)

After a user has certain number of approved posts without any disapproved posts, lets say 50 or 100 posts, that user shall be whitelisted by the mods and his posts no longer need approval to earn.

Let me know what you guys think about this.
