This is actually the best strategy for wagering, from what I know.  But betting same bet size with 50% win chance all the time works as well, most of the time.

Same as you, mate. My entrance into the world of gambling was very similar to yours. 
Regarding being a winner or not, it all depends on luck, and I wish you lots of it!

I prefer manual betting even when hunting for particular numbers, like 12.91 today. 
Made 1,300 so far to no avail.
But I know I need to do much more than that to finally catch it. And so I will. Nothing much to do during the quarantine anyway. Why not to play dice, and have fun with manual rolling?

I just enjoy manual betting, that's all. I relax more with this kind of betting.

It's not wasteful for me because I enjoy the hunt regardless of the outcome. Of course I'd enjoy it even more if I'd finally hit it, but no bot can guarantee it. You can lose lots of your funds when using a bot, and still end up empty-handed.

Only remember: never risk an amount that you can't afford to lose. I did that mistake couple of times in the past, when I was thinking that after 10 or so losses with 50% win chance I should definitely win in the next 2-3 bets. Nope, the next 3 rolls were reds too. Don't repeat my mistake.

To boost forum activity, I think we need more contests apart from wagering and roll hunting ones. 
I mean, poetry, art, photo contests and such.
The most upvoted entry wins. Only, I think, to avoid abusing, an upvote from a member with reputation 200 should be 100 times more valuable than that from a member with reputation 2. 
I posted this suggestion earlier in a reply to a post, and was told by mods to post it here. 
I was also told by CaptainLorca that "In a case of a Voting Contest, there shouldn‘t be a difference in Reputation here."
Well, maybe considering a vote from a member with 100 times higher reputation as "100 times more valuable" is too much, I agree, but at least some difference should in my opinion.
